Bridging

Our Bridging program streamlines the learning journey for students aged 10 years and over with little to no knowledge of how to read Arabic. It allows students to complete our Foundation program outcomes in a shorter timeframe and fulfils the prerequisites for entry into the Intermediate program.

The Bridging program focuses on the fundamentals of the Arabic script, including reading and pronunciation principles, to ensure students are able to fluently read Quranic words and sentences. The program includes an emphasis on the articulation and/or memorisation of Chapter 30 of the Quran with a focus on its correct recitation.

Students also explore foundational age-appropriate Islamic Studies themes and topics, such as connection with their Creator, pillars of faith, purification and prayer. Classes are age-and-ability specific and gender segregated. Students are provided the opportunity to apply their learning inside and outside the classroom via an app.

Our Bridging program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to continue their studies and develop a solid foundation for the lifelong recitation and/or memorisation of the Quran.
