Foundation

Our Foundation program is an extension of the Early Learners program. It is a structured and age-appropriate curriculum that aims to build a strong foundation in Arabic and Quran reading, and introduces spiritualty and Islamic themes and values.

The Foundation program focuses on the basics of writing the Arabic script as well as comprehensively covering correct pronunciation, letter and word recognition, reading and articulation. By the end of this program, students are equipped with the ability to fluently read Arabic words and sentences with proper articulation.

The Foundation program also incorporates memorisation and/or recitation of Chapter 30 of the Quran, including the correct rules of recitation. Moreover, foundational Islamic studies and daily supplications are integrated into the program.

Our Foundation program will provide our students with essential and fundamental skills required for lifelong learning, recitation and memorisation of the Quran. It incorporates classroom learning with extracurricular activities, such as excursions and workshops, to ensure students create positive learning connections with day-to-day experiences.
