The 2 day Applied Islam course will allow students to navigate through the many contemporary issues they’ll encounter in their modern day-to-day lives with an Islamic lens that is embedded within an Islamic worldview. It will provide students with the knowledge they’ll need to answer questions related to faith, identity, gender relations, modernity, secularism, existence, cultural and their relation to Islam.
Presented by Sh. Mohammad Abdallah – Professor and Researcher at the University of South Australia.
