The Next Steps (TNS) is the annual Alfirdaus mentoring program designed specifically for teenagers, offering a structured series of monthly events that combine meaningful learning with engaging activities. Each year, the program focuses on personal development, faith, and building strong connections within a supportive community.
2026 Theme: In Their Footsteps — Adopting the Qualities of Our Righteous Predecessors
This year’s theme encourages participants to explore and embody the character, values, and legacy of exemplary figures in Islam, helping them develop a strong sense of identity and purpose.
Who Can Apply
TNS is open to students aged 12–17. The program is available for both brothers and sisters, with separate programs tailored to each group.
Program Objectives
Participants in TNS will:
- Learn about inspiring role models in Islam and their defining qualities
- Build meaningful friendships with peers of similar age and background
- Take part in engaging challenges designed to encourage personal growth
- Develop confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose
- Strengthen their faith while gaining practical knowledge and life skills
